Multiple H5 Scripts

Hi,

We are running two scripts on OIS300, both of which use the onRequesting, onRequested and onRequestCompleted functions to subscribe to the instance events.

We are finding that sometimes one of the scripts fails to execute onRequesting and only executes onRequestCompleted.

Is there an issue with having more than one script running? 

It seems there may be some competing going on between the two scripts making the behaviour inconsistent.

It should be possible to run multiple scripts, but the order between them might be different so you should not rely on the order in any way or try and share state between them. If you are chaning the state and cancelling requests then you might cancel other scripts as well.

For example it's possible that onRequesting is not called for all scripts if one of the scripts decides to cancel the request. It's possible that the first that cancels will cancel for all which might explain some inconsistency.

I would gather as much information as possible and if you can point to the inconsisten behaviour with some evidence like log and networks traces, it's something to report to support.

But it's very hard to troubleshoot this just based on the information in the question here.
