Requisition Self Service Add All Items Option

We're testing out Requisition Self Service as part of our migration from v10 to FSM. One thing that has tripped up most of our testers so far is the "Add All Items to a Request" option in the shopping list. We would like to remove this option from users completely, but it doesn't look like RSS is configurable. Has anyone else run into this and found a way around it?

Yes, that was a major issue for us as well. I have also submitted ER for this. However, as you mentioned RSS is not configurable. What I have done is found the relative action in the Requisition business class and configured it to provide error message to the users, and cancel the request. That worked great when the user added new requisition. However, if a user attempts to add all items to existing requisition, this change does not stop it. So, for changes, I identified the action that goes to Async (when there is more than 50 lines in the template) and blocked it in Async. That will display an error message to the user and also stop the action. The shortage is these changes will only stop the copy all if the template is more than 50 lines.

There is also a way to configure the link that requesters use for RSS in FSM that blocks certain actions from happening. If you don't want requesters to have full access to the Requester_ST role, but only targeted access, this may possibly work. I don't know if Configuration Console would be able to mask or hide that specific function in RSS, but if you have Admins that have access to Configuration Console, you can work with them to see if the "Add All Items To Requisition" can be hidden.

Would you mind sharing that async action and details to block? We have also struggled with the Add All Items request and have endorsed the enhancement to make that an RSS configurable action. Thank You

@flewis , do you have any information on configuring the link? RSS doesn't appear in Config Console so it can't be modified that way.

Very limited actions on RSS are actually within the Requisition business class, and that what can be configured. UI cannot be, except the linked forms from FSM like users field.
