PCard Expenses - Email Notification Triggers

I was wondering if anyone else out there uses the GenerateERFromCCBkg process for their PCard loads.  We are trying to see if there is a way for email notifications to be sent out based on the date the expense report was created.  This will help us get reminders out to any cardholders that may have missed submitting their reports at the end of the card cycle.  I figured that I would try this group and see if anyone else is doing the same thing.

You can resolve this request outside of the GenerateERFromCCBkg process.  If you’ve not already done so, you will need to configure the UnassignedCCTransactionNotificationBkg.  This process traditionally was used to send notifications for those transactions still left unattached inside of the system.  This of course will not apply to your environment, as GenerateERFromCCBkg is creating Expense Reports for those transactions as they are imported into the environment. 

But, within our v10.2.17 (July 2020) release of XM we enhanced our UnassignedCCTransactionNotificationBkg so that not only can we send notifications for those unattached transactions, but also those within a particular activity.  Set your UnassignedCCTransactionNotificationBkg.ERActivity application parameter to 72001 and now your process will also send out notifications for those transactions attached to Expense Reports still within the ER Create activity.
