We are working on new requirement, business wanted to have material to be procurement if it not stored on their internal location. Thought to use the location rule. The rule defined as below and result is not as expected.
Item 10000
Location A = Item is inventory tracked, bin tracked and allow issue. No on hand exist
Location B = Item is inventory tracked, bin tracked and allow issue. No on hand exist too
Location c = Item is NOT inventory tracked, no bin tracked but issue allowed. Consider as Non-Stock
Location rule created
Rule 1
Sequence 1 = assign the Location B
Sequence 2 = assign the location c
Attach the rule to requesting location of Location A.
I created a requisition with requesting location A. Once i released, i noticed system processed as demand to location B. Thought system goes to sequence 2 and it goes to buyer backlog for PO processing.
Was my assumption is wrong? If i need to go sequence 2 and create PO how can i achieve.
