Problem with Infor.Get.Value formular in Excel (Infor EPM v12)

Hi all, I am trying to enter values into a hypercube in an Excel report via "Infor.Get.Value" and activating the writeback mode (manual entry into a cell, no copy, no multi-select).
After every single input I get a message that the writeback mode has been terminated because the original formula is no longer available.

What is strange is that the message only appears on my desktop PC. If I (or colleagues) enter values in the same Excel-report via notebook, everything works fine.
Any ideas?

this is unfortunately issue I've encountered with one user while having customer call and we are currently investigating on our end. We were able to reproduce it.

What I've identified as a reason on that environment is that the user had VBA/COM add-ins active at that time (specifically in this case it was MS Analysis ToolPak built-in add-in). When we disabled it and cleaned the workbook from the links to that add-in file (and reinserted the add-in) it started to work normally (note that maybe you need to restart the excel and clean cache - unfortunately I don't remember details). So far it looks it is Microsoft issue (again related to VBA/COM add-ins) but we need to prove that and then we will report it.

Can you please disable all built-in/custom VBA/COM add-ins and double check on brand new workbook if it helps? Would it be sufficient workaround for the time being?

JFYI, we identified the issue that for some reason AnalysisToolpak causes (and potentially other addins) causes to fire the events twice for the same change and then it leads to the issues. We are now trying to identify minimum repro steps for MS.

today I was able to check it.

I cleaned the cache, disabled a pdf-maker add-in and started 'pure' Excel without Office Plus.

After that, everything worked again.

And according to MS it should be fixed with latest Excel version (from build 16.0.16227.20150 forward).

Vit is the MS fix you're referencing going to fix the issue allowing the clear add-on cache on app opening to work? Our users constantly have to clear the wef folder when opening excel integration reports.
