Stability Issues with AppStudio since last weekends update?

Anyone else experiencing extensive stability issues with AppStudio since last weekends CU? Weve got 4 developers working in 3 different tenants and experiencing appstudio hanging when doing simple operations such as deselecting hyperbocks, switching between reports or trying to run multiple instances of AppStudio.

Before I log an incident wanted to see if this was isolated to our experience or if anyone else has encountered it.

I was just discussing this with an Infor consultant I'm working with. Also constantly getting the timeout popup. I submitted a ticket asking if the timeout could be extended.

I've noticed some issues since the last update as well. I'm not able to open the reports directly into design mode. If I try, the tool gets hung up. I have to open in view mode first and then design mode. I was just about to log an incident myself.

yup, we just discovered this hack as well. very odd. Im going to turn on debugging and open a ticket once its hung a few times.

SCOPE:
Application Studio is freezing after Apr 23 update

ENVIRONMENT:
Cloud - Multi-Tenant; Production; dEPM - MT Current

ASSESSMENT:
Kindly note that this is a known issue. For more information on this, please refer to KB 2294294 which I've also linked incident.

Switching between reports that are checked out works, and one known workaround is to switch to a report from a report that is in View mode (not Design mode).

The issue is expected to get fixed on the May 2023 release (12.23.5).

I hope this info helps. I will now proceed and complete this incident.

Hi,

is this only a cloud-issue or does AppStudio freeze in on-prem as well?

As we have planned to update to 2023-04 soon, that would be good to know. Maybe better wait for the May-release?
