Hi,
I would like to use the ability to create custom lists and to use the M3 search features to get around a limitation encountered in the creation of an Ad Hoc report, namely that filters and selections can only be made on fields in the main table and not on fields in related tables.
So, I thought that creating a custom list that would correspond to my ad hoc report and that would display the fields of the related tables on which I could apply my selections would allow me to achieve my goals.
But I'm having problems with this.
Also, could you tell me if there are any special precautions to take for this approach to work or if it is also doomed to fail?
Because when I try to apply a selection on a column of a linked table, the results are not consistent.
I must have missed a step in the reasoning ? or in the way to do it ?
