Export a Single Employee from GHR to S3 (EmployeeExport record in HRM Interface)

Hi all.

Does anyone know the simplest way to get the system to create an EmployeeExport record (in 'Not Processed' status) to send to S3 for an employee, without having to make wholesale changes on the employee record? The record would need to be 'Applicable' to send to HRM (Lawson).

We have an employee that was re-hired recently and normally the export record would get created and sent over via the normal interfacing but in this odd situation, this person's export record is nowhere to be found.

We are assuming it was deleted somehow and never processed, but we need to get another one created with all pertinent information in order to get this person exported to Lawson.

There may be a few ways to do this. Just looking for the simplest for my HR staff.

Does this employee's hire date happen to be in the future?

Yes. The hire date is in June. The export record was entered on 5/15. Effective Date 5/14. Employee's hire date is 6/12/2023. Once correction from the original post. The employee is a New Hire. And not a re-hire.

Have you tried to go into Async Administrator > Effective Dated Requests, find the original action and change the effective date on it to create a new record? Sometimes, these things are complicated, so if you would like to take this offline, my email is nhoppe@lps.org.

Hi Nancy. The HR staff reached out to INFOR via an incident. Their current suggestion is to do a DBExport (Export from Database) on the EmployeeExport record using Admin Console. Clear the 'EmployeeExport_DeleteFlag' value from the export record. Then import (Import to Database) the updated record back into the DB using DBImport with the 'Overwrite' flag set on the Duplicates option. We have done these steps in our Non-prod environment for the record and it seems to work as far as making the record active again and available for Export. We are testing the export now to make sure it goes over properly. Will provide an update.

As far as the Effective Dated request, I didn't see anything out there for this particular employee that we could update an effective date on.
