How can I load dimensions from the Staging tables from an external tool?

Upgrading from 11 to 12. The customer uses Talend and load CSV files using the old API. The installation is on-Prem.

I can easily switch to loading the Staging Area instead of CSV files, but I don't know how to trigger the Mappings from my data import process. Is there a way to do this?

Take a look at the ModelingExecuteFactMapping() and ModelingExecuteHierarchyMapping() App Engine Functions.  In an On-Premise context you should be able to run using ProcessExecutor.exe.

**EDIT**  Important clarification from a colleague:

Only issue to be aware of is the function destroys the dimension before loading. If you have an etl issue, which leaves your dimension table empty, then you can lose the cube and all your data; a backup is needed. At <some customer> we build manual dimensions this way but use a custom AE delta update for dimensions during the day; it defends against an empty table.  Full build overnight.
