Uploading Counts - IC72/IC73

I was taught that after uploading counts, I would have to click Add for each page in IC72 to officially "add it". I also was taught to do the uploads straight into IC72 and I found that that was incorrect and they need to be uploaded into IC73, then verified in IC72. With almost 4000 items, hitting Add for each page can be time consuming. Can anyone verify if the Add button needs to be done for each page in IC72? Thanks!
