Position Defaulting on Re-activated Positions |
Please assist with an issue we are having when changing an inactive position to an active status. We have the job field default rule setup for both the Salary Structure and Salary Structure Grade fields to be Default No Override so that any updates made to a job record for these fields populate on position records for the same job code. What we have found that the defaults seem to be working when new positions are created and on active positions when the job record is updated. However, it didn't work as expected when reactivating a position for a job that had different Salary Structure and Grade values. How can we get the fields to match the job record when re-activating a position and keep the job field default rules as they are setup in our system now? |

Sync Additional Fields from Position to Manager Records |
Our processing team frequently updates the Direct Supervisor field on Positions. When the position is a manager, our team also has to navigate to the manager record to update the Direct Supervisor. The active and description fields are already synced to the manager record. It would be great to allow additional fields to sync from the position record to the manager record like Direct Supervisor so that only one change needs to be made. |
