User Field Security

Hello,

We have two user fields created on the Employee business class. I have added those user fields to the Dates form.

Recruiters currently have inquiry access to the Employee business class and we would like them to be able to update the two user fields only.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

I think you need to make the fields "accessible for all actions" on the security class and add a condition if it should only be updateable if it's a recruiter. Something like when (actor has role "RoleName")

Thank you for your response, however I do not want the recruiters to have access to all actions. Only inquiry except for those 2 fields to be able to update.

I am still having issues with this one.

Recruiters currently have all inquiry access,

I need them to be able to inquire on all fields in the Employee BC except for 2 custom fields, I need them to be able to update those.

Hi Debra,

Did you try Shaheen's suggestion? It seems like that should work for your scenario. Are you having trouble identifying the security class to update, or trouble adding a new security class?
