IC12 Questions

Question #1 -  We just started utilizing IC140, Does the buyer code pull from IC12 or does it pull from RQ01?

Question #2 -  Standard Cost - I understand that IC12 Standard Cost pulls from the source record but how does it work wen you have multiple contracted tiers?  How does Lawson know which tier pricing to pull? If it does not how do you deal with this?  Manual?

Hi Terry,

Question 1) The IC140 uses the IC12 Buyer code. You can also default the buyer in from the PO100, but this could lead to a lot of unassigned transactions in the buyer queue.

2) If you are using contract management, you can assign the tier at member level by location. If you have multiple contracts for the same item, it can pull by the itemloc vendor (based on PO01.4 settings) and then the highest priority contract. The PO01.4 is where you set your cost defaults.
