Executing Splashing in App Engine

Dear all,

I'd like to execute a splashing command to copy one slice to another element using the App Engine.

I've found a lot of functions in the documentation like OLAPCreateSplashCommand, OLAPAddSplashCommandElement etc. but no sample how to do this easily.

Has anybody already used these OLAPSplash-commands in App Engine to copy values from one slice to another and maybe could provide a small code sample, how to do it?

Would save me a lot of time of investigation and try and error...

Hi Ralf,

here is some code which splashes a value in an additive manner to a target cell in a cube TCOSTS, based on a source cell. In your case, you could simplify it further since you won't add the value, you will just use the source value for splashing, you'll not have to deal with special cases for empty source and target cells. But I think the routine demonstrates the most common ways how you would use splashing:
