Hi all,
Got strange activity happening which I've not seen in my 19 years of doing Pegasus - maybe just been lucky not to have come across it before but wanted to check if anyone else has experienced this and is it normal before I raise it with Pegasus.
Customer has a Cash Sale Account which they use for many different customers for generating quotes. So it doesn't have an email address in the Order Contact box so cannot go down the root of using the Email Profile function.
If they create a new quote and then go to publish and choose EMAIL, they then give the quote a PDF name, eg QUOTE32776 and populate the subject and description and hit PUBLISH (step1) which then opens in the Outlook Client, where they then input the email address, however the attachment is NOT called "QUOTE32776.PDF" it has got renamed to eg ATT39295.PDF (Step2) and when we look in the ADataA_EMAIL folder there is a .PDF which just appears to be getting overwritten each time they do this process (Step3).
It got highlighted by a customer not getting their own quote and receiving somebody else's which I think was a timing issue between two people doing the above at exactly the same time but I've never seen this before and if the user was to publish the quote to a PDF it gets given it's unique PDF name in the ADataA_PDF folder ok so appears to be the EMAIL publish function.... Advice to customer at the minute is to check that the attached PDF is the correct one before hitting send on the email!!
Some snips below to help explain what I mean... any help/advice welcomed.
Regards
Claire
