Field To Snapshot Field From Another Business Class

Hi,
I created a field in GeneralLedgerTransaction the field is Axitem, I want the value in GeneralLedgerTransaction.Axitem to populate in another field I created in GLTransactionDetail, that field is AxitemDetail. How do I go about doing this? The snapshot field won't work b/c both fields have to be in the same business class.

Your help is appreciated.

@zachieah-zurbrigg You have listed two different business classes: GeneralLedgerTransaction and GLTransactionDetail. Is that a typo?

Trying to understand what you are trying to do.

That's correct, it's two business classes. I'm trying to update the field in the one business class, when the field in the other is entered. For example when GeneralLedgerTransaction.Axitem is populated, I would like GLTransactionDetail.AxitemDetail to update with the value populated in GeneralLedgerTransaction.Axitem.

Can you try something like this defining a snapshot field on the GLTransactionDetail...

AxitemDetail is a snapshot of first GLTransactionRel.Axitem

Hi Andy,
I tried that and I don't get any syntax errors, but the value is not returning, it's just blank for AxitemDetail - although there definitely is a value in Axitem.
