Employee Space UI

We are implementing Employee and Manager Space. Our Lmk is at 10.1.0.21 and Ltm is at 10.2.0.3. Our user community will number around 6000. If you have deployed this, what was your choice of UI's? The web applet seems to be just as problematic as the RichClient when it comes to balancing the Java requirements in the organization.

We just went live in May on 10.2.13. We are in process of testing .17.

We went with html5 custom employee/manager space. That was done by an Infor Consultant and then transferred to one of our IT Developers.

I'm actually having 2 issues at the moment with this 'custom' page relating to abilities to 'proxy' to a manager.

Java is a royal pain relating to rich client applet. If I were you, I would look at the 'delivered' html5 page and not custom. It basically looks like rich client applet.

My email is abice@genesishcs.org if you would like to reach out. I can send you some screen shots of differences but I unfortunately am not html expert so can't be a lot of help but can show you what we are doing and what another option might be.

We are also in the process of switching ESS to HTML 5 so far the challenge we have is the security we did in LRC web applet does not apply in HTML 5. We have the solution to over come it and in the process configuration. good luck
