Automation of moving files from S3 to MHC Document Express

Hi - we're looking for suggestions on software you may be using to automate moving files from Lawson S3 to MHC's Document Express for printing, such as Purchase Orders and Checks. We currently use Opalis Robot that is no longer supported and now that we are moving to Windows 2019 Servers we need to find another solution. Everything we have seen so far is unable to monitor for files in sub directories. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi, we use MHC's solution called MHC File Mover. Its a simple little windows service that has a tiny config file that you specify source and dest. for directories and types of files and even number of directories down to look at. We move all files to a single directory (with date/time stamp so as not to overwrite each other) then direct the import routines in Doc. Exp. to look at that single directory for its various types of import files. It works very well.

Does this work for Cloude Suite CSF.......is it just for windows folders/files or is it cable of getting from an FTP site also ?

We used the DE import routines and Import settings (including the Host-Transfer information) to move files from Lawson S3. Last year, when we upgraded to FSM, we got a new import routine and svc account to use with FSM. The service account needs security to access the S3 or FSM folders.

Hi Jim, I can't say if it works for CSF as we are still running v10 on prem. This little application is only for searching folders/files, it does not have FTP functionality built in.
