Report book variables

I have successfully created a report book.  All of the reports within it use the same variable.  Is there a way to let web users select the variable value and have it apply to all of the reports before the report book is exported/printed?  Failing that I would accept the users needing to make the selection for each report.  As it is, no selection can made and the reports in the report book are created with what was set when the report book was defined by me.

I currently have an "Export Report Book" action defined in a web report to allow web users to export the report book.

Any input would be appreciated.  I am continuing to go through documentation and various EPM Educational Materials to find the correct way to do this.

You can use global variables for that, use the global variable in all the reports, add a combo box and use the variable in input/output variable section of the combo box properties, also use the variable in the formula. You can initialise the value of the variable in the start report. Hopefully it will help.
