Best practice for TOI and TEI Interface?

Does somebody use TOI (Transport Order) and or TEI (Transport Execution) interface? Can you briefly tell how / where you use it with what XML messages?

I am also not able to find documentation in concierge. Can somebody help me recent documentation or pointing me where to find it?

Currently we use the TOI interface where we plan and inform the carrier on expected transport volumes (Transport order). The carrier returns the IFCSUM to confirm the pick up time and what truck will be used for pick up.

Next I need to inform the carrier with the actual details of the truck after pick & pack. I was thinking to use TEI as solution and sending a DESADV message, not sure if this is possible. I am hoping that someone can put me in the right direction.

Yes, this can be done through TEI (document number 915) or setting up CRS945 trigger for document number 901.

Hi, we use TEI for doc 915 triggering IFTMIN (XML) for the transporter. If it is best practice, I do not know...

Edit: We use an external 3rd party to translate the XML to EDIFACT

I think CRS945 document number 901 does not work for sending the DESADV in this scenario. The partner in CRS945 should be the carrier of the delivery document and CRS945 can only work with Customer and Supplier partner as far as I have get it work, not the carrier. This was my original Idea but I could not get it work. How did you manage?
