Setup connection to FTP file server in Mongoose

Hi,

I am trying to setup connection to FTP file server from Mongoose.

I am using File Servers form, but always receiving this error message

Please what am I doing wrong? I already tested this FPT connection from FileZilla and web client, and it's working just fine.

I dont know the error but wanted to share some info.

 

I might be wrong but from what i remember, ftp is not allowed in CSI10 File Server when in cloud, SFTP is allowed but I think you can only use the default port.

you can use Mingle SFTP (Enterprise Connector) when you need different port other than default

there is also an option in enterprise connector for FTP but that only points to onpremise ftp server

What we currently do is we download the file on prem via api call and call winscp to upload the file to outside. So maybe something like below will work for you if you really need FTP.

Onprem API call to cloud and grab the data -> save as textfile and call winscp to upload

or

CSI10 Cloud bods -> Mingle FTP -> file will be saved to a folder -> use maybe a tool like cuteftp to watch for a folder and send files outside via ftp
