We are running into a problem with very specific scenarios where the effective date of the retro rate change goes far back enough that there are other rate changes with more recent effective date present for the employee.
Ex, employee had received a market increase effective Aug this year and today HR came to know that the employee missed a merit increase that was effective May this year. When Merit increase is entered for the employee in WorkAssignment, the system wipes out the Aug increase that was already in place for the Pay Rate field. We are left out with rebuilding the rate increase for Aug which works when there is only one change after the fact. But it is cumbersom when there are multiple changes and multiple employees with such changes..
We are looking for methods/process you use to handle such scenarios in the GHR system.
