We set up our STD/LTD plan in the BN15 screen so employees can enroll during open enrollment and the deduction is automatically calculated We noticed the deduction coming out of the employee's paycheck isn't correct for employees who work 12-hour shifts or work part time but not necessarily 1040 hours. The system is calculating the rate based on 2080 (FT hours worked in on year) but for our employees that work 12 hour shifts they work 1872 annually so the deduction should be less. I can't seem to find where the information lives in the set up of the plan. It calculates correctly for our part time employees at 1040.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Do you know where the number of hours are being pulled from to calculate the LTD/STD deduction?
Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated.
