M3 Maintenance

Is anyone using M3 for Maintenance? I'm trying to figure out how to generate work requests for an extended period of time. Example: On Friday, the maintenance manager wants to generate all work requests for the following week. Daily's, weekly's, monthly's - all that fall within the following week. ???

We are using M3 for maintenance. While I am not an expert in this area, I believe that the plan horizon field on MOS300/E is used to drive what you want to do. I recently had a request from a site to see a year of work requests. They changed the plan horizon to 365 to accomplish what they were after. Hope that helps.

Ok. I set the planning horizon to 5 days. When running MOS999 I also put the planning horizon at 5 days. I still only get one work request. What am I missing?

I also checked the Release date X days prior to start date in MMS037(F). It is also set to 5.

What is your repeat interval (in the maintenance limits section) for the service? Are you expecting to see 5 work requests for one service if it is daily? There may be config that is needed that I am not aware of.

Repeat interval is 24 hours.
