We are looking into streamlining the menu and page navigation for Administration Console and Security Administration. Similar to how Async Administrator and Configuration Console were done in October's release.
The design thinking is that Infor would REMOVE both Security and Configuration and Personalization menu trees from Administration Console.
This makes granting access to Security and Config Console cleaner in my opinion. Security should happen in Security Administration. Configuration/Personalization admin should happen in Configuration Console.
This would leave Replication, Database, Analytics, Auditing & Monitoring and other Setup/Maintenance type stuff in Administration Console.
What gives me pause is looking at your usage - 7 of the top 12 most used menu items in Administration Console all point to Security stuff.
I would like your opinions on the change/impact of this, have you struggled controlling access to Security and Configuration because of those items also live in Administration Console, would you prefer and appreciate a cleaner separation of concerns in these applications?
