Remove a Delivered Action from Lists without Updating every List?

Anyone know of a way to prevent a delivered Action Request Action from appearing in the associated business class lists without creating a global config for each list? I'm thinking a Security Class action restriction may be the only way, but that would likely mean multiple security class updates which I'm trying to avoid.

I've also tried using an Action Override, but it appears the "valid when", "restricted", and "restrict action on list" directives aren't valid for Action Overrides. Any thoughts or additional ideas?

Interested in the approach here also. With only the security class layer restriction, users would think they have the action but get the security restriction dialog after they invoke the action.

I also took a look at the new UI Access Policies for menu / page security, and didn't see anything in there to control actions, but I could be overlooking something

It would be nice if actions could be restricted globally in there, since it seems like that is the go-forward solution for UI security.

SecurityClass changes would be the only way to actually remove, take away, restrict the action, which would naturally hide from the lists as well.

There just no way today to specify an "override the rules" security block that says "yeah yeah, I know at least one policy granted access to it, but hey it's in this special deny list block now, so it's gone." And this would still be config work somewhere, and assigned to the right Roles. Sure it's more centralized (maybe) but it introduces another layer that complicates the picture, even more.

I'll see if "restrict action on lists" could be added in an ActionOverride but this doesn't actually truly secure the action from the user at all. It really only obscures it.

UI Access Policies at scoped only to webapp and menu access so you didn't miss Actions security in there.

Was the "restrict action on lists" directive removed? It looks like it's syntactically invalid on User Actions now as well.

I'm looking for a way to obscure the User Action (not action override) from all lists, but still allow it to be invoked from a menu.
