LN only returns the original BOD in Acknowledge BOD when the update is Rejected.
LN doesn’t return the original BOD in Acknowledge BOD when the update is Accepted. When accepted it only returns the Document ID set in the Data Catalog.
I am passing the job ID of the PLM system that is sending the Bill of Material changes in a custom XML tag which I want to extract from the Acknowledge BOD to relate the LN response for the sent job ID.
I have tried passing the custom XML tag as a child in the DocumentID tag and the UserArea. When the response is Rejected, I get the job ID from both places because the original BOD is returned in this case.
But in case of an Accepted response, LN doesn’t return the custom XML tag.
There could be several different jobs from PLM to update the same Bill of Material and hence it is needed to identify which job was successful and which was not.
Does anyone have any advice on how to return a custom XML tag in Accepted Acknowledge BOD?
