EDI with Vendors such as Parts Source or Amazon - organizations who are functioning as a distributor

Has anyone else implemented EDI with similar vendors, specifically Parts Source. We are experiencing significant issues with the Parts Source 855 - PO Confirmation, where the Parts Source seller (GE, .... will send them 855 messages and they are consequently sending multiple 855 PO Confirmations for the same PO # - PO Line #. Leading to challenges with delievery dates, backorders... 

If you have experienced this, does your Buyer team focus exclusively on GHX (or EDI VAN) to understand 856 information, or are they working directly via the vendor website to understand the delivery information.

Yes, just weeding through a lot of the Parts Source EDI inbound mess this morning.  And when I have reached out to them to not send overly long character values for vendor item or item on acknowledgements, I get no response from them whatsoever. 

Our buyers use GHX to figure out what was shipped and to capture shipping details if they provide it.
