With any personalization made on any page - we are prevented from seeing the delivered standard content to that page/form etc. This is a known issue with Infor and there is currently no 'flag' or sort to alert a user they are using a personalized page/etc and not a standard delivered page. In recent weeks this has led our members to troubleshoot longer than needed until they realized their personalized page kept them from seeing the data correctly And these personalization's are any extra fields or columns you might add to a list.
Are any others experiencing problems with not seeing delivered standard forms/screens etc due to personalizations?
Infor does know personalizations keep users from seeing standard delivered pages/content. They also know configured pages/forms/etc prevent you from seeing delivered content.
Currently there is no marker or alert or any flag on a page that has a personalization alerting you that you have it changed and if you want to disabled it then you can see the standard page.
For us it goes deeper - at the time of conversion we had help from Infor consultants that created pages for managers etc - and personalized pages according to those managers because at that time in 2020 there were no delivered managers pages that met our needs. Three years later - the personalized page that is attached to a manager menu cannot be deactivated without causing us to find the configuration that is updated with the added personalized menu to revert it back to the standard delivered menu. Are you following me? Yeah welcome to my world of connecting the dots to our personalized pages in the personalized menus in our personalized world keeping us from seeing updated new content from each CU.
Is there a support group for people in our situation?
Are there others in our same position trying to get back to standard pages within GHR but swimming against the current trying to get to the surface? I'm curious to know.
