Is there a way to add debug messages to an IDO Extension Class?

I'm trying to debug an IDO Extension Class in the cloud version of SyteLine. According to Infor there's no standard debugging available. They mentioned using the Application Debug Log put I haven't found a good example on how to do it. Or if anyone has a better suggestion I would be grateful..

I would like to knwo as well how to use the Application Debug Log as it might be an easier way.

Most of my IDO Extension classes are used to build dataviews or add properties to existing reports. To debug, I end up building a script and adding it as a debug button to the criteria form. The script is as close to identical to the code of the IDO Extension class as possible. From there, I add in some Appication.ShowMessage commands and it catches exception errors.

I am cloud and I use the Infobar messages to find errors. Just make sure you have good error handling in your script and then set the Infobar messages to a variable and display it on your form.
