Contract Interface Feed - Processing Updates

Hey Everyone.

We have been utilizing the contract interface within Infor for the past year now.  We've loaded hundreds of contracts using the Vizient contract feed.

One of the takeaways we have for the contract interface when processing updates is that it doesn't always provide the update category.  I have not found a way to A.) identify that a price has changed, and B.) identify how much it has changed (old vs new).  I opened up a ticket for this as well, and they confirmed what I was seeing.

We want to review price changes and UOM changes prior to pushing them through.  We do not want to have to query out the data and do a VLOOKUP.  This is problematic because this is one of the reasons we wanted to implement this interface.  

Is anyone else having a similar experience?

We would like the updates coming through the interface to be more intuitive so we can review and approve those changes efficiently.

Hi Ben- have you looked at the option when you do cost updates from interface contracts where you can capture all cost updates over a certain amount or percent? You enter this option in Process Contract Line Updates- Tolerance Percent/Connector/Tolerance Amount, or when running  Process Interface Updates, when you select "Find and Update Item Cost And Date Changes And New Items" you get the same options. Then those changes over tolerance can be viewed in the Cost Update Tolerance Errors tab in the Additional Contract Information menu item.
