Dear Infor M3 Community,
We are encountering a perplexing issue related to stock updates from POS transactions within Infor M3. Despite running the 'POS Sales Ticket. Update' (OPS280), which successfully posts POS sales transactions to the General Ledger, we're facing a challenge with the absence of updates in critical areas such as 'Stock Transaction. Display History' (MWS070) and 'Balance Identity. Open Toolbox' (MWS060).
Here's a rundown of the settings and checks we've diligently reviewed to ensure everything is in place:
- Verified OPS280 with the Inventory accounting interface set on.
- Confirmed warehouses in POS transactions are defined in 'Warehouse. Open' (MMS005).
- Ensured Inventory accounting interface is active in 'Shop. Open' (OPS500/G) for warehouses in POS transactions.
- Validated the Stock trans field in 'Warehouse. Open' (MMS005/H) for involved warehouses in POS transactions.
- Confirmed the existence of a qualifier record ‘31PS’ in 'Internal Stock Trans Qualif. Open' (MMS860).
- Checked for records with Msg direction= I-Input, Msg type= INVOIC, and Partner matching warehouses in POS transactions in 'Stock Msg Partner' (MMS865).
- Verified that the number series 16/A hasn't reached its upper limit at 'Number Series. Open' (CRS165).
- Confirmed POS transactions include sales or return records (record types OPRDST, 1000, and 1200 respectively) in 'POS Sales Ticket. Open' (OPS275).
Although data is updating in OXSALE and OPSALE, the absence of transactions in MWS068 and MWS070 remains a challenge. We're seeking insights or suggestions from the community—is there any specific setting or program that we might be overlooking?
