Hello, I'm performing an initial review and assisting a client to connect from their Infor Cloud environment to their ERP. The client endpoint works under the SOAP protocol, it has to receive an xml. I have worked with ION but always on premise and under the Infor product suite. According to what i saw in the documentation, a Connection Point should be generated towards your API type Endpoint and then use it in a document flow, is this correct?.
You can contact a SOAP type endpoint, right? Because when generating the connection point I have doubts and when reporting Content Type I only see application/json.
For example in this case we want certain WMS events to be sent to the ERP. Because of this, initially, we thought this would be the correct flow:
Enable the BOD event in WMS, generate a document flow, translate the BOD to the format required by the external endpoint, and contact the external API.
This is correct?. or at least indicate what the workflow/best practice would be to address this aspect.
