Access related question - Quickest easiest way restrict access??

I'm testing multiple options but wanted to ask if anyone has accomplished this successfully.

We want to have one single Enterprise/HRorganization that houses all team members.

We then want to be able to create a new location within the same Enterprise that we want to restrict all access unrelated to their hrlocation. We want them to only see team member information etc for the hrlocation they are assigned to.

i know that will also affect accounting units etc. without creating a new enterprise/hrorganization, what options do we have? Has anyone accomplished this already? if so, i'd love to know your experience.

We used the HROrganizationUnits to do this - we use cost center for accounting purposes and the HR Org Units primarily to (closely) align with location. We have several layers to the org, allowing multiple geographic views of things, and the ability to use HRGeneralistActorOrg to provide access by region, country, location or even department. We do all of this under a single HROrganization. Feel free to reach out if you would like to chat!

with this set up - are you able to have a location nested in the org unit structure be isolated to just that org unit even if it has a direct report? for example - parent hr org 1 - has 2 under as a region - has 3,4,5 under as a location.

if we want to isolate unit 4 to only see 4 - is that possible with that nested setup?

did you have to modify any security roles or lpl for pages to isolate access across ghr? for example - are employees in hr org 4 example above able to see more than their org unit 4?
