Does anyone know how to add a subtitle to an embedded report like the image below.
I don't think I've ever added a subtitle to a list, and I don't see an option for that in the LPL reference guide, so there might not be a way to accomplish that. You could create a page with a single panel, but I'm not sure that's what you're really looking for. Is updating the title insufficient?
Thank you Andy, yeah I think that may be what I have to do update the title. I just thought it would be cleaner with a subtitle.
I'd love to have the ability to add a brief statement about what the report is for, filtered on, etc. Might be a good ER.
Have you explored what the Report Catalog has to offer here? In the catalog itself there is a description that can describe what the report is for. The delivered Infor text can be changed, via the Report Definition bc.
where would the description appear in the report catalog? I don't see that field now, nor do I see a place to personalize the view of the report catalog to add a field.
Report Descriptions show up here. It's possible this only comes with October's CU but I thought it was released already.
I believe that this is available for reports that have been delivered by Infor, I don't recall seeing a place to create a description like this on reports we create, nor am I aware of having a way to have that detail display on the output of the report itself... see below screenshot - first 3 are delivered, 4th is one I created:
