Configurable Features and role creation

When creating a new role in HRT in Security Administration, we are finding that the roles we create come with some configurable features checked.  We would like to change the default so that configurable features are unchecked on new roles we create and then we manually will update the ones that need it.  Has anyone been able to do this?

when creating a role from scratch, the default behavior is to set the following features to TRUE, all others will be FALSE

ExportToCSVEnabled
ExportToPDFEnabled
CreateReportEnabled
CreateFolderEnabled
CreateWatchAndAlertEnabled
AsOfDateEnabled
ShowUserActionsOnInbasketListEnabled
ShowAllScheduleActionsEnabled
SharingReportsAndFoldersEnabled
SpreadSheetDesignerEnabled
SpreasheetDesignerUpdateEnabled

 

for roles that have been created already, you can use the "Reset Configurable Features" action to put a given role (or all roles) back to default

 

changing the default behavior is not possible without some type of configuration/extension

 

however, the configuration console does not allow for custom actions/extensions for business classes that reside in the environment
