Quote# on Purchase Orders

Hey Everyone,

We need a way to include the quote# on purchase orders. We then need EDI mapping to send this quote# through GHX and to the suppler. This will help ensure that details and pricing on the quote are honored/followed while giving us the ability to automate these orders. Do others struggle with not having this feature available?

Yes, that is what we have been stuck doing as well. I'm hoping with ER#105713 it will help push automation of quotes and PO data. Now that we are pushing for full EDI automation, we want everything structured to help support that.

I'm often seeing the PO comments - EDI "Message" segment as the dumping ground for information that should have (or already does) a dedicated field that ensures correct processing. We are moving away from that as much as possible on our end.
