Connection Point to API Flow has everything getting stuck in Pending status. How do I fix it? [Solve

Edit: Solved! I don't know if all of this was necessary, but here's what I did:

1. Updated the schema in the API Flow, since it was missing a field.

2. Updated the API Flow to remove certain fields which may have caused issues with an API call.

3. In ION API, refreshed metadata for ION API Flows.

4. In Active Connection Points, paused the stuck connection points, then deleted the top message in the processing list.

5. Unpaused the Connection Points.

6. Messages appear to be flowing through again! ... But then they got stuck again and I had to repeat steps 4 and 5. I'll see if I can figure out if there's something in the payloads that's causing it to get stuck.

I've got a Data Flow that ends in connection points which use an API Flow, and I noticed that they have tons of requests that are piling up in Pending and not making it through to Received or Sent.

What might the cause of this be?

All three of these connection points are for the same API Flow, just with different parameters.

Messages are called in an ordered fashion. You have an issue with the payload in the first request, which stops all other requests.

Either the payload is broken, or the API expect other things in the request that you're not providing.

I also got this issue but then I thought its a issue of the third party api which I am calling.

What i did to refresh the ion api connection point recently is there is below setting

Map input document to API request

Used this set up (tested) the dataflow and again changed back as I dont need this set up.

I am not using api flow I am using ION api connection point to call a third party api in my data flow.

For me it seems an ION api refresh issues.

Yes if Payload is broken this starts coming and each time it tries again to connect to that api connection point. So somehow we need again to refresh it with correct payload

Click on the arrow in the Pending Column for the connection point. This will take you to a view of the messages pending in the queue where you can inspect as well as delete. Delete will cause a Confirm BOD to be produced for the Error view panel.
