How can we capture XM data in our Cloud Suite Financial widgets?
What a great question.
We have our own Widgets available from OS Portal for users to clearly show pending Credit Card Transactions (and Loose Expenses that may have been created from Mobile or our recent Coleman integration) and Pending Expense Reports that they have in-flight within the workflow. This April will see the release of an additional widget for documents pending approval. You are always welcome to configure these widgets to get direct access of information from the source application.
But I do not know if I would be able to speak directly to FSM widgets. Once our expense information is seamlessly interfaced directly to FSM’s General Ledger (for Company Paid transactions) or Invoices created to reimburse our employee vendors, then this information no longer looks like expense information, but FSM information. I would focus on these two areas of the Financial application (GL and Invoice pages), if there are already existing FSM widgets displaying this type of information, then the question would be how best to qualify ONLY information pertaining to XM (should be able to restrict or filter based upon the tracking number or “ER” number interfaced between systems), as that is how we were able to deliver our Drill back URL functionality inside of FSM so end users can conveniently use hyperlinks inside of FSM’s GL and Invoice pages to link directly back to the relevant Expense Report details (including receipts).

Is there any documentation on the OS Portal widgets? We are opening a ticket as we are having issues getting data to show up.
