Apps 9.0.1.9 - New Hire enrollment rules do not exist

We are desparate for a solution. We are scheduled to upgrade from 9.0.1.5 to 9.0.1.9 next weekend and receiving an error in ESS for new hire benefit enrollment. "New hire enrollment rules do not exist". Appears a new field "Employee Group" exists on the BS05 screen and when inquiring on it, it populates with an N. We do not restrict enrollment for new hires based on employee groups. Has anyone run into this and found a workaround? Support suggested CTP 93523 to fix N in the BS05 Employee Group field but the patch did not fix it.

Hi,
Create an employee group with the name of 'N", go to BS05 and inquire on the record that has an employee group of 'N" and then delete the record. After that make sure you have a rule with an employee group that the employee is in or a blank employee group rule.
