When users are trying to use Request update Vendor action to add some attachments its not actually

Users are not having direct update access and they are only having access to request any update to vendor screen through action called Request Update vendor, when they are requesting for change in the bank information they are attaching the relavant documents , After this request was approved i am not seeing the attachments coming to vendor screen. Only the information of bank account number is getting updated, but user also wants the attachment to be visible under vendor attachment screen.

Is it possible?

There is one more question like is it possible to attach more than one attachment when we are using vendor update request action ?

Please any suggestions and inputs here...

Have you confirmed there are no errors in the associated work unit?

You should also check the Action Request and confirm the ActionRequestField for the attachment exists and has data.

If you want the ability to have multiple attachments, you will need to customize the process, but it is possible.

I have checked the work unit and log , i see no issues there and i have looked at Action request there also it shows the attachment and status is completed. Where as the same attachment i am not seeing under vendor screen in attachments tab. I dont know whats missing here.

You said its possible to customise the process to have multiple attachments .....can you please throw some light on how this can be handled

Right click on the Action Request and select the "View" action, and then confirm the "Action Request Blob Field" exists and has data.

There are multiple ways to customize the process, but ultimately you have to customize the Request Action LPL to include additional attachment fields, add them to the action form, and then add logic to the Request Action or associated IPA flow to create the VendorAttachment records.

Yes i did the action suggested and I can see field name and type column under that request blob field and value says transient file attachment and binary document respectively. So i think data is coming here.

I am not really sure why i am able to see attachments coming to Action requests but why not updating on the vendor screen.

Ok thanks for the approach suggested for multiple attachments we will try this.
