Upload Employee Email Address to HR11

Lawson v10 - hosted by Infor.

We give all our employees an email address when they're hired, but it's not available when the employee is created in Lawson.

What are some options for uploading email address to HR11 > Address > Personal E-mail (we're using work email for other purposes) automatically? I know we can probably use Add Ins, but we're looking to schedule something that will run automatically

We don't have any IPA workflows at our facility and no one onsite (including myself) knows to access/create one. Not opposed to it, but expect there would be a learning curve before we would be able to create anything useful.

You could use an HR511 job to upload the data, schedule it from RECDEF. Just use the 'EMPLOADCSV' format. You can find the layout on the Infor Concierge site.

Thanks for the suggestion! I looked at the HR, PR, PA, and TA (maybe) batch jobs, but didn't see one that I thought might work. HR511 says "Employee Conversion", so wasn't really sure that was a fit.

I wanted to let everyone know the solution I came up with for this process.

I did use HR511, but ran into some "quirks" with the required fields. Specifically, EFFECT_DATE and POS_LEVEL. These are from PA13.

According to my HR/PR resources on site, they don't use PA13, so they didn't know anything about the fields.

I didn't want to change anything in PA13, so I created an SQL query to pull those values up for each employee in the list to put in the EMPLOADCSV file.

I'm also checking EMAIL_PERSONAL (which is where they're adding employee email address). If it's already valued, I don't add that employee to the EMPLOADCSV file.
