We recently added 4 New companies to our structure and they were not automatically added to the Period Status/EntityLedgerPeriod screen. We located the two KBs below which said we could run the "Accounting Entity Period Rebuild" Utility to get those added. The utility worked to add the companies but we were still wondering why this occured as it has never been an issue previously. The 4 companies were built on 3 different days over a 6 week time period.
Infor provided directions on how to setup a company and create a calendar. Our directions for adding a company to all the appropriate areas was consistent, but the creation of the calendar was slightly different with how we started the build. Our 2024 and 2025 calendar are currently built having that slight difference (prior years were built at the time of implementation). We're trying to determine if that is the issue and we'll need to use the utility until 2026 when we build the calendar differently.
Has this happened to anyone else? Other than to run the utility, was this corrected eventually for anyone? Any idea why it happened?
