Is anyone aware of a solution to my issue? We frequently need to create new userfields on the Employee business class to use as flags/anchors for work units, IPAs, action requests, reporting, etc. We use ISD every day but Infor has some kind of setting on the Employee business class that makes changes ineligible for Batch uploads. ISD does allow us to make changes to fields on the Employee BC, but it takes forever. We have 70,000+ resource profiles and the last time I had to change a single custom field, it took 8 days.
I'm aware of the Mass Action feature described in this article: Infor Documentation Library. However, in testing, it seems this only allows us to change Infor-delivered fields like StartDate, AdjustedStartDate, etc. What I'm looking for is a way to create a new boolean field, for example, and then easily value it as true/false for all existing resources. In past jobs, I've used other HCM software like ADP and PeopleSoft. These were much older than GHR but they had straightforward CSV Upload options that would allow me to change any field on any datatable.
Is anyone aware of something I've missed that would allow me to change custom fields on Employee or other Batch-ineligible business classes without taking days in ISD? Thank you very much!
