Is it possible to query only first document that search gives?

eq. we have few versions of purchase agreements from same agreement number, let's say there's added some pre- or posttext to document and saved on IDM newer "version" of it and I would like to get only latest (with timestamp) one seen in Business Context viewer/Related information in M3. I've trying find solution from Concierge search and via KB's and documentation but there is no clear explanation about this.

This is sort is getting latest on IDM side top of search, but are we able to get only first document?

/M3_Purchase_Agreement[@M3_Agreement_number = "1010704"] SORTBY(@LASTCHANGEDTS DESCENDING)

I don't know if it is really possible ?
It seems to be the case when you use some APIs.

But I think that it is not useful for your need.

Thanks for answer, good to know there's this kind of inside APIs but in this case this won't help unfortunately. Maybe I'll ask also via ticket if there's some suggest how this should be done, I know we have couple scripts done for these to get latest version of document (via APIs) but those needs also some version number as in attribute.

What API are you trying to use in that case to query the Document(s)?

Not exactly. APIs are not a solution here because this is a standard functionality on top of IDM where the configuration is done for Business Context Model with XQuery.

Hi Arttu, in documents that have an "original" and "copies" you could add that parameter (e.g. in OIS199PF: VFCOPY) and then use that to query on. Not sure that helps you for the PO agreement though.
