DOWNTIME PROCEDURE

Does anyone have a policy/ procedure for a scheduled Lawson downtime. Looking for anything re: inventory issue procedures &/or purchasing procedures. We have a scheduled downtime this weekend from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon/ evening; depending on how the upgrades/ updates go in the I/T department. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

For par locations you can print out each location as many times as needed in IC281. Then enter the counts in IC83.1 when you are back online.

What tasks/activities will you be trying to maintain through the downtime?

Thanks Stace! We will be mostly handling Issues and maybe some transfers to one of our other hospitals, but other than that it is over a weekend so purchasing will be closed.

No problem. For the call-ins or walk-ins I would use a simple call log to record the item, qty, UOM, department, and requester. Then do IC21.1 to get caught up when back online.
