I was only able to attend the first 15 minutes of IPA Interactive Briefing. Will the April CU require Amazon Corretto?
Java 17 is required for Infor Process Designer with the April CUAmazon Corretto 17 is recommended, but not required. Oracle Java 17 is supported as well.
Technically any OpenJDK derivative of Java 17 should work as the runtime for Infor Process Designer but all Development, QA, etc was done using Amazon Corretto.
Regards,Brady
Is there a specific minimum level of Java 17?
There is no minimum level of Java 17 required per se, but I would recommend installing the latest version which is currently 17.0.10.7.1 for Windowshttps://corretto.aws/downloads/resources/17.0.10.7.1/amazon-corretto-17.0.10.7.1-windows-x64.msi
it looks like you can't do an upgrade to pre-java 17. i just tried so i'm having to install a fresh copy. just thought i would share.
Correct. 2024.04 IPD requires Java 17. You will need to install Java 17 and then install a new instance of IPD. There is a copy config option that allows you to select your existing instance so the connection information is copied over.
