SData 'where' clause: Count related entities

Hello everyone,

does anyone know of a way to check the amount of entries for a related entity inside the 'where' condition? This is easier explained like this: I want to get all accounts who have more than 3 contacts, for example. But I want to have this limitation inside the "&where=xxx".

I consulted the SData documentation at sage.github.io/.../, but without any results. Maybe the few souls who come across this question have an idea.

This can't be done in an SData query as filtering based on the count of related entities within the &where condition is not supported.

You'll need to do something like the following in C#

string jsonResponse = GetJsonResponse();

// Deserialize JSON to list of accounts

List<Account> accounts = JsonConvert.DeserializeObject<List<Account>>(jsonResponse);

// Filter accounts with more than 3 contacts

var filteredAccounts = accounts.Where(a => a.Contacts != null && a.Contacts.Count > 3).ToList();

// Output filtered accounts

foreach (var account in filteredAccounts)

{

    Console.WriteLine($"Account ID: {account.Id}, Name: {account.Name}, Contacts Count: {account.Contacts.Count}");

}
