OIS605 can only issue copies of order confirmations?

We wish to use OIS605 directly (not via OIS300) to reprint order confirmations (copies) and reconfirmations (as originals).

There is a checkbox in OIS605 called "Copy" which seems to indicate that you could do this.

However, when OIS605 is run, deselecting "Copy" results in no document. Selecting "Copy" does work, but sometimes we want an original. Support is indicating that this is by design. If that's true, why even include the "Copy" checkbox?

I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this issue.

This is standard logic in M3. The copy option is used to be able to reprint copies only. Originals cannot be reprinted from OIS605. However, if you delete and then recreate document 230 (Option 13 from OIS300) then M3 will print an original.

Of course the other option is to get the original from IDM if you are using that.

Thanks Simon. Pricing has changed, so we were hoping to generate from OIS605. We had an IPS service to do this, until we found out that the "Copy" checkbox is essentially meaningless.

I am unsure why M3 includes the "copy" checkbox in OIS605 if it is not functional (leaving it blank has no use).
