We're interested in everyone's experiences with the Infor Expense (blue icon) mobile app.
How widely used is it in your organization?
What issues do your users report?
We are still using the red app. I haven't been able to access the blue app successfully in a test environment. I can get into the blue app, but am unable to get past the SSO authentication. Most likely a Zscaler issue.
I have a customer they recently started with the blue app (with OCR and SSO) feature. They had some issues initially but those were actively resolved by the Infor development team. Issue - They are unable to use proxy's feature on the blue app.
I use it, quietly literally only me, as the Infor Manager for or organization. I've had it set up for over a year, but it's only really taken off and worked well.
This year I've had good success approving my own team's XM transactions every week, as well as submitting a simple receipt to my supervisor.
What we haven't tested yet are more complicated demands like clinical CME.
Based on how well it's been working, I envision us making a push to roll it out in 2025.
It's the blue app, (on IPhone) called "expenses"
We began using the Infor Expense (blue) app in April and feedback has been largely positive. Our power users were quick to adopt the mobile application, and any current concerns are outweighed by the positives. There were a few configuration out of the gate, but Infor was quick to address.
Current Limitations/Issues:
Are you logging in using your email address, or did you manually specify the server, port, and tenant id, and then provide your login credentials?
Our organization's vision for the mobile app is for travelers to track receipts and expenses in real time. In this scenario, we don't really need the proxy feature. How would you use the proxy feature in the mobile app?
Thank you all for your feedback, it's very helpful.
How do you enter mileage expenses in the mobile app? Do you allow your users to simply enter their mileage, or do you have some customizations in place to limit their entry (e.g. selectable pre-determined routes, address lookup, etc.)?
Majority of XM users would not require proxy, but we do have quite a few regional admins that approve for or submit on behalf of other users. Would allow them to do so while on the go. I'll have to try accessing via the gear icon.
I am lucky to even get the blue app to open on my iphone. It's seems glitchy and sometimes will not even open. Our associates are excited to use the blue app; however, I am still unable to get past authentication screen. Help!
What error messages are you seeing? Are you using an iPhone or a Droid?
What authentication method are you using?
Any luck accessing your non-prod environments?
Also, XM has a feature that allows you to email it receipts, including PDFs. These are added to the Receipt Store in the web application, and the Receipt Gallery in the mobile app. Once a PDF is in the Receipt Gallery, the mobile app can attach it to an expense.
